The
Colleges will provide a $1,000 scholarship to each student team member who
achieves
First
Place in the 2008 National Engineers Week Future City Iowa Regional
Competition held January 26, 2008, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The scholarships
will be awarded to student first-place winners of the Future City Iowa
Regional Competition who ultimately apply to, are admitted by, and enroll
in either the College of Engineering at The University of Iowa or Iowa
State University under an engineering major.
The $1,000
scholarship will be divided equally between Fall and Spring Semesters
of the student's freshman year at the College.
The scholarship
can be added to other University of Iowa or Iowa State University merit
scholarships earned by the students, including those earned from the College
of Engineering.
